Sunshine and seeing the light

The sun is finally shining here in Farm Country! I hope it lasts. I'm leaving on Saturday to see The Boy at school and I'm very excited about that. Afterward, I'm heading over to see a friend and then on to my mom's house.

Mom and I have big plans:

• visit Holmes County, Ohio to see the Amish
  
• go to lunch
• talk
• laugh
• chill
• visit family

This will likely be my last spring break, so I'm making the most of it (the state of IL is broke, so I'm going to be laid off at the end of the school year after 11 years with the district.) However, I do know that this could possibly be the best gift I've ever received and I have to keep my chin up. There are other things out there for me and I have a lot to give.

And like The Man keeps telling me, even if I don't have a job at the end of this year, I still have a future. I love that man!
